For participants, it's a chance to get actively involved in a cause, enjoy an enriching collective experience, and contribute to a positive impact on society.
"The Race for Heroes is much more than just a sporting competition; it's a platform for solidarity and community mobilization."
Our participation in the Race of Heroes
We were honoured to be invited by the association Envoludia to take part in the Race of Heroes 2024.
Envoludia, which supports people with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities, is an association whose values we deeply share.
Their mission to promote the autonomy and fulfillment of people with disabilities resonates particularly with our own professional commitment to well-being and health.
Set up at the Envoludia association stand, we had the opportunity to offer our services to a large number of runners, contributing to their general well-being.
Moments of Sharing and Solidarity
The general atmosphere at the Course des Héros was marked by great solidarity and a festive spirit. Interaction with runners was rich and varied. Many participants expressed their gratitude for the postural assessments, emphasizing the positive impact on their performance and recovery.
We were particularly moved by the commitment of the riders and the passion of the volunteers, which reinforced our belief in the importance of our contribution to this event.
Why We Chose to Participate
Our commitment to health and well-being is at the heart of our practice of chiropractic. Every day, we help our patients achieve optimal balance in their lives through personalized care and a holistic approach to health. Participating in the Course des Héros allows us to extend this commitment beyond our practice, by contributing to an event that promotes physical activity, well-being and solidarity.
What's more, we firmly believe in the importance of supporting charitable causes. The Run for Heroes offers an ideal platform to raise funds and awareness of important issues, while sharing common values of caring and generosity.
What we bring to riders
One of the most rewarding aspects of our involvement in the Run for Heroes is being able to help participants give their best. By making pre-race postural assessmentsWe help prevent injuries by identifying and correcting muscular imbalances and poor posture. Correct posture and optimal joint alignment allow :
-
Improve performance
- Increase runners' endurance
After the race, our postural assessments promote faster recovery by releasing accumulated tension and restoring correct alignment. This double intervention, before and after the race, is crucial to ensuring a safe and effective sporting experience for all participants.
Every gesture counts
We believe that every action counts. Every consultation, every postural adjustment is an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. By participating in the Run for Heroes, we have the chance to put our expertise to work for a greater cause.
As a chiropractorsOur role is not limited to relieving pain; we aim to promote overall health and encourage active, balanced lifestyles. This conviction drives us to become actively involved in events like the Course des Héros, where every gesture contributes to a positive collective impact.
